Sungudi Cotton Sarees: Sungudi sarees, traditional pure cotton sarees from Tamil Nadu, are known for their intricate tie-dye patterns. A craft that was introduced by the Sourashtrian community, it gets its name from a small village in Tamil Nadu where these sarees were first produced.
Velthaari/Veldhaari Pattern: Consists of vertical wavy lines and dots, inspired by traditional South Indian kolams. Named after "Vel," the divine spear of Lord Murugan, it symbolizes auspiciousness and protection.
Style Tip: You can style this with gold temple jewelry or pearl for a festive look.
